And the weekly dr's appointments begin. . .

So I thought I would update with todays info.
I had my strep B test today and will get the results next week. Not a big deal if it's positive I would just need to go on IV antibiotics when I get admitted to the hospital to keep the bean healthy. The heart beat was between 120 & 130 (healthy and normal). My belly is measuring 37 cm which is right on target and the midwife today said there is no way this is a very big baby. She may have been placating me but I don't care--> I like to pretend that this will be an easy labor. And finally. . . I am not dilated at all (I am just at 37 weeks so I am not surprised) but the baby's head is low and getting ready and my cervix is already softening (sorry for those of you who find that Too Much Info). SO things here are WONDERFUL and we couldn't be happier. 3 weeks til our due date (but I could go as long as 5) we will keep you posted.

On a separate note. . . .

My very goodest friend Jess and I were pregnant at the same time (She was 6 weeks ahead of me). She had her little girl two weeks ago (1/8/09). It was a long a difficult labor but we were very excited to greet Nya Mackenzie Morgan into this world. She is beautiful and healthy and mom and baby are doing very well! She and I have spent a lot of time together the past few weeks since she had the baby! Very exciting. Now we just keep telling the Bean to come out and play with his/her best friend. :)
