On Saturday, after I got to sleep in, we grabbed organic sandwiches at Seedlings Cafe (my favorite sandwich shop ever). we packed a wicker picnic basket and headed over to the park to read stories and have lunch. The weather held out for us and we had a great time.
On Sunday I was able to sleep in again and we had a slow cuddly morning as a family and then headed down to great grandma's house to celebrate with her and Grammie Marj. We took Grammie Marj out to lunch at Panera and then went home for a snooze and a cuddly lazy evening.
It was a great way way to spend my 1st Mother's Da. It was quite nearly perfect in fact.
Now the pictures:
Jimmy poses for his weekly photo shoot with Bear. He is 10 weeks old!!!!

We sat under the most beautiful tree in the park to enjoy our lunch.

Jimmy enjoyed his first experience with grass. He had a great time.

Jimmy enjoyed it so much he fell asleep and I could help but go cuddle him. He is just so darn cute.

Jimmy gave me the best Mother's Day gift ever- his first giggle. He had a great car ride while we were out running errands.

Rob gave me this beautiful dragonfly ring. Rob picked the dragonfly because it reminds him of how gentle and wonderful I am with all creatures big and small. The purple wings house Jimmy's birthstone.

Jimmy and Grammie Marj have a great time at lunch.
